Puku Statistics
I know I've been on the weight / fitness rollercoaster for most of my life. In my early twenties when I was at my fittest I hung around the 89 kg mark which was pretty lean until I started getting overuse leg injuries and had a spike to 115kg within a year. I put this down mostly to my eating habits not changing from fit Heath to suit inactive Heath. I lost that weight after about two years and had an average weight of 96 kg for about 10 years. I went through a rough time emotionally in my mid thirties and my weight went up and down at least half a dozen times. Some historical data I kept is listed below.

I'm not the heaviest I've ever been but I'm definitely feeling the effects of being unfit like I haven't felt before. The combination of age, young children and a working life has been leaving me lacking in enthusiasm to get back on the fitness train again. This blog is really just a way for me to verbalise my mental state and address that lack of motivation.
